The platform provides estimates of agricultural production and environmental compliance for rural properties registered in the Rural Environmental Registry (Cadastro Ambiental Rural — CAR). SeloVerde integrates data from public agencies and applies geospatial analyses aiming to transparently provide traceability for agricultural production and combat illegal deforestation. The platform uses the most advanced technology and the best available cartographic data to:
- Assess compliance with the Forest Code for rural properties;
- Provide transparent traceability for suppliers of agricultural products;
- Integrate updated information and geospatial data from federal and state agencies;
- Assist with environmental and land regularization;
- Identify occurrences of unauthorized deforestation.
